What is the shady side of Hard Rock Stadium? ›

Stick to the south (home) side or upper deck for shade. Later in the day, seats in sections 142-150 will start to move into the shade, starting with rows closest to the field and moving upward.

Yes or you can put it in your pocket. According to the NFL website, they are not limiting the items that you normally bring into the game. They are limiting the bag size and type to enter the stadium. Therefore, you can bring your wallet or feminine products inside of your pocket.

Over the course of the afternoon the sun gradually dips down behind the home side of the stadium and eventually sets closer to the north end zone. This configuration makes the south and west sides of the stadium the “shade sides” and the north and east the sunny spots.

Generally, the seats in the shade at Raymond James Stadium are located: Southwest Corner: Early shade in the corner on the home side of the field. West Sideline: Shaded on the home side of the field later in the afternoon.
