This pie is super easy and fun to make with the kids. Even though it’s strawberry, the sweet/tart combinationreminds me of pink lemonade. It would be great for any pink themed party or baby shower too, enjoy!
Thanks for visiting and God Bless!

OMG – I have been looking for the correct measurements for this pie for years. This was my mother’s go-to offering at every summer party.

I had the hardest time getting this to firm up. Any tricks to it? The pies in the fridge for now. Hopefully the will set. Will let you know. The sample from the bowl tastes delicious.

In order for the evaporated milk to whip to stiff peaks, the evaporated milk, beaters and bowl need to be very cold. It whips beautifully. Awsome recipe, the grandkids especially like it because you can change flavours easily.

My mother made this in the ‘60’s. I’ve been looking for a recipe for years, thank you. She did add well drained pineapple chunks into the jello mixture before adding it to the milk. Back then strawberries were hard to find. I’m going to try it with strawberries sliced.
